What did you think of the English version of The Grudge, as opposed to the Japanese original?

Overall I thought it was scary and fun, but the whole setting was so bizarre (A Japan seemingly solely occupied by Americans?) Weird.

Oh, sorry, I haven't yet seen the original Ju-on, therefore I cannot compare the Japanese to the American version. (Is this all the same person? What is going on? Why do you care so much about my opinion?)
The question was repeated because when I tried to post it the blog rejected it, or so I thought. I didn't realize the message would take several days to show up.
